Visit and swim with and feed sea turtles at Baraka Natural Aquarium on North Coast’s Nungwi Beach.

In the north of Zanzibar, you can find one of the natural tidal lagoon formed by coral rocks home to rescued sea turtles – the Baraka Natural Aquarium – which buys the turtles, caught by fishermen and after rehabilitation are released back to the fresh ocean water in the lagoon. Visitors can swim with and feed them seaweed under supervision. Snorkeling is also possible to watch them in their natural environment.
