2 Days / 1 night Mikumi National Park Fly-In / Fly-Out Safari
Overview
This is a short safari for visitors with limited time for a longer safari. Mikumi National Park offers a wide range of wildlife inhabiting its 3,230 sq. km area. Unique sightings are groups of female and young bachelor sable with their one dominant male. Over 400 species of birds have been observed in the park, many of which are Eurasian migrants who stay between October and April.

The food was very delicious and healthy and it was a great experience.

Zanzibar is quite the honeymoon destination, and Halisi Africa tours mostly deal with private tours, so it is sometimes lonely. Loved learning about all the spices grown on the island, tour had fun interactive tasting of spices, tour guides made beautiful jewelry and baskets to carry samples out of banana… read more leaves and hibiscus flowers. Very authentic tour of history of spice use and practical cooking and medicinal application of the spices, including how the spices spice up your relationship haha!

I went to Zanzibar December 2021 and had the time of my life. One of the greatest highlights being the week-long tour group provided by Halisi Africa Tours. Not only… read more are Hamza and his crew locals who know their island like the back of their hands, but they loved imparting their love for their home to us. We went on a boat trip to Prison Island, took a spice tour (excellent experience!), swam with dolphins, walked Stone Town and stayed in the most beautiful lodges/hotels all the while. Hamza was extremely helpful and communicative and helped get us rides whenever we were not together. He also helped us maneuver the Covid screening test which was a bit of a hassle and would have been a disaster without him. Halisi Africa Tours was well worth the money, and was an experience unto itself as a result of the incredible staff!
